What are we teaching?

When we stand in front of the classroom we never teach content alone. Blended in our teaching are skills, attitudes and values.

When teaching cursive:
content = make it this way
skill = cursive
value = important of neat handwriting

A thoughtful approach will ensure you are moving forward in a direction consistent with your mission.

Retell the difficulty of creating video in the past. Locate a camera, charge it, record, now find the cables to download it, and use more complex software to edit.

Remember setting us a VCR 15 years ago - all the cables, red, yellow, white?
