PRESENTATION OUTLINE

WHAT IS MISSION SPACE.

  • Mission space is a stimulated flight experience with 2 levels of intensity Green..or Orange.
  • Vehicles have 4 seats in a row, that face realistic monitors and controls
  • Each seat is equipped with locking over the shoulder harness.
  • Height requirement: at least 44 inches to "Blast Off"
  • I don't think the ride is dangerous but at times it may be a little to bumpy for me.

WHAT DO YOU RISK?

  • It all depends, people don't go to amusement parks to be injured
  • They do take the risk of being injured or killed
  • Only if the rider does not fit the ride requirements
  • Must be physically healthy, not recommended for pregnant women

RESPONSIBILITY TO RIDERS.

  • To warm about the ride
  • Make sure the riders understand the safety precautions
  • Disney did a lot to warm the riders or the 2 levels of intensity of mission space
  • They had many signs posted before entering the ride
  • Also someone asks you which one you would prefer

UNFORTUNATE EVENTS.

  • David Bamuwamye-June 13, 2005 Passed out on ride
  • Could not be revived, later passes away at Celebration hospital
  • Hiltrude Blume- April 12, 2006
  • Fell I'll after ride, has stroke, also bleeding brain cause by high blood pressure
  • Later passes away at the same Celebration Hospital

OTHER INCIDENTS

  • No deaths on mission space
  • 194 guest have been treated for illness after riding
  • Passing out and difficulty breathing
  • Yes there has been other incidents of death on other rides in the park

MY OPINION.

  • I would not ride mission space, green or orange
  • Because of the fact people have been injured, and died
  • I get very claustrophobic in some situations
  • so I don't feel that I would be stable on the ride.
  • It's just not interesting to me either, I need an attention getter ride.
