PLATE TECTONICS

• Here it show's the plates on the lithosphere.
• The lithosphere is broken into sections called plates.

DIVERGENT BOUNDARY

• This picture show's when two plates move apart, and form a Rift Valley.
• When two plates move apart, it is called a Divergent Boundary.

CONVERGENT BOUNDARY

• This picture shows when two plates move towards eachother.
• In this picture it shows that a mountain is formed when the plates move towards eachother

TRANSFORM BOUNDARY

• This picture shows a transform boundary, here two plates move past eachother, in opposite directions.
• It also shows a fault, A break in Earths crust where masses of rock slip past each other.
