• The world's largest peninsula located in Southwest Asia
• Educated Guess: Iran and Iraq
• Relation: Many of our troops are in Iraq and Iran 
• Relation: Get our oil from there

Monarchy

• A type of government were royalty are rulers
• Educated guess: Saudi Arabia
• Relation: We deal with and help much of the government in the ME

Arabs

• A person from the Arabian Peninsula that has Arabic cultures
• Educated Guess: Whole Middle East
• Relation: Many of the people we talk to in the ME speak Arabic

Theocracy

• A government ruled by religious leaders
• Educated guess: Iraq 
• Relation: Saddam Hussien 

Embargo

• Limit on trade
• Guess: Iraq and Iran
• Relation: They may not be able to trade as much with us

Baath Party

• A type of government that Saddam Hussein used
• Educated guess: Iraq
• Relation: His actions lead us to war
