  • Microwaves are something that can be used for
  • transmitting things, like a radar, and more.

  • It has a higher frequency than radio waves, but
  • Lower frequencies than infrared waves.

WHERE ARE THEY?

  • Microwaves are the second wave in the
  • Em spectrum.
  • Shorter wavelengths, higher frequencies, and
  • Higher energy than any other radiowaves.

ARE MICROWAVES HARMFUL?

  • MICROWAVES CAUSE NO HARM TO PEOPLE
  • It doesn't matter how far away a person is from a microwave oven since it cannot harm people
  • Microwave ovens can be dangerous un-microwavable items are used.
  • Federal standard limits the amount of microwaves that can leak from an oven throughtout its lifetime
  • to five milliwatts of of microwavr radiation per square centimeter at approximately two inches
