Do's & Don'ts' of Using the Microwave

DO read the instructions on your microwave package

DO use caution when opening a container from the microwave

IF you see SPARKS, DO turn off the microwave immediately

DON'T turn on the microwave if it is empty

IF there is a fire inside the microwave, DON'T open the door.

If there is a fire in the microwave, DON'T use water to put the fire out. DO use a fire extinguisher

  • Aim at the base of the fire... NOT the flames
  • Squeeze the level slowly
  • Sweep from side to side
