Mexican Cuisine

Mexican cuisine consists of Mesoamerican and Spanish cooking styles.

Mexican Cuisine also
consists of many meats, cheeses, corn, beans, chili peppers, herbs, and spices.

Regional Varieties

The food in each region of Mexico varies. For example, they serve tamales and mole, a type of sauce, in Oaxaca, while serving caldo de mariscos (seafood soup) in Veracruz

List of Mexican Foods

Some Mexican foods are: Tacos, Burritos, Fajitas, Enchiladas, Arroz Con Pollo, and Empanadas, just to name a few.

Odd Foods

Mexico is not just all burritos and tacos. Mexico has some food oddities, too. Escamoles (Ant Eggs), Gusanos de Maguey (Fried Cactus Worms), and Caracoles (Sea Snails), are just a few out of the many weird foods of Mexico.

Drinks

There is a long list of Mexican drinks. These drinks include the well known soda, Coca-Cola, Jarritos, a fruit flavored Mexican soda line, agua (water), and many, many more.
