Many libraries now have makerspaces. For those of you who don't know, a makerspace is a community-operated workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, machining, technology, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialize and collaborate.

I work in THINKspot. THINKspot is a collaborative workspace and makerspace within the Red Mountain Branch. Not many libraries in the valley have makerspaces yet, but they are growing in popularity. Many of these spaces have 3D printers and offers classes.

I'm going to show you a video we filmed to give you an idea of what our space looks and feels like.
