Prophase

• The chromatid pairs are now visible and the spindle is beginning to form

Metaphase

• Chromatid pairs are lined up in the center of the cell

Anaphase

• The chromatids seperate

Telophase

• In the final, the cytoplasm is beginning to separate

Meiosis II

Prophase II

• The duplicated chromosomes and spindle fibers reappear in each new cell

Metaphase II

• The duplicated chromosomes move to the center of the cell

Anaphase II

• The chromatids seperate and move to opposite ends of the cell

Telophase II

• The spindle fibers disappear and a nuclear membrane forms around each set of chromosomes
