• Gothic cathedrals are all around Europe 
• Some of the most famous ones are the Maria del Fiore 1436
• Notre Dame 1345
• Milan 1386
• All these cathedrals were built for worship

• The cathedrals all have spire towers to the sides of them
• They were inspired from Roman architecture

• Many kings were crowned inside these cathedrals
• King Henry VI was crowned in 1431inside Notre Dame
• Napoleon was made emperor in 1804 inside Notre Dame
• Most importantly Joan of Arch was made a saint in 1909
