KELSEY WATKINS

MY FAMILY

• My parents are Mike and Kim Watkins, and I have one brother named Kyle.
• My family means more to me than anything. They are my biggest supporters no
• matter what I'm doing. I always know I can go to them about or for anything .
• Also I have a yorkie named nick but he's not in this picture because I dont think
• they wanted a dog at a wedding.

SPORTS

• I play varsity basketball for the school. I am number 1 this year but i was
• number 34 last year. We havent started our practices or games for this season
• yet but I believe we are going to great this year. Our seniors are Mary Paige
• Hunt, and Skylar Holmes. Last year we won a lot of games, were area champs,
• and made it to the elite 8. So I'm hoping to go even further this year.

SPORTS

• I also play varsity softball. I am number 12 and have been since my
• freshman year. I am the catcher and I am hoping to get the chance to
• play college ball. I have played softball since the 7th grade and I have been
• on varsity since the end of my seventh grade year. Im also hoping we go far
• in this season also.

ABOUT ME

• Im always hurt, somehow. I have had two rolled ankles and two concussions
• all in the same season. I have broken my wrist, then a week later had to have surgery
• on the opposite hand. I take foul balls to my helment behind the plate constantly
• which is my least favorite thing about catching.

NICARAGUA

• Well this summer, I went on a mission trip to Nicaragua. It was by
• far the greatest experience of my life. In Nicaragua we did a few vacation bible
• schools, led a youth conference, went door to door, and just had fun. We also on our
• last day went to their market, visited an active volcano, and went to and abandon
• prison which was pretty scary if you ask me.

LAKE

• In my spare time, I enjoy going to the lake with my family and my
• friends. We all have a great time together. We most of the time wakeboard, tube,
• and ride the jet ski. I love to go down there and stay for several nights in a row. My
• favorite thing to do at the lake is tube, until I just keep on at my dad and then there's
• no doubt that he is about to throw me off.

ALABAMA

• I love Alabama football. My brother goes to college at Alabama so he has an
• apartment we get to stay in on weekends then get to go tailgate by the stadium.
• I think sometimes I like tailgating better than going into the actual games.
• Only sometimes though, trsut me i love going into the stadium too. My favorite
• thing about tailgating is being with all our friends and definitely the food.

DISLIKES

• I don't like pickles. I don't like to get up early. I dont like fighting with
• people. I don't like mayonnaise. I don't like mustard. I don't like driving a dirty
• car. I don't like going to walmart. I don't like standing up and giving speeches
• to people. I don't like cold weather all that much. I don't like getting hit in the
• head with softballs. I don't like rolling my ankles and getting concussions.

DAD

• My dad is the funniest, annoying, caring, outgoing, supportive, fun, loving
• person I know. Me and my dad goof around more than anyone I know. He is my biggest fan
• in everything that I do, he supports all my decision and has my back through everything.
• Im blessed to have such an awesome godly man as my dad. He is the person I look up to
• most.

MOM

• My mom. I dont think my family could make it without her. She does
• everything in the world she could possible do for us. Im also blessed to have
• such a kind-hearted, caring, supportive, godly woman as my mom.

KYLE

• Kyle is my best friend. We fight all the time. But through all the fighting
• he definitely will do anything for me. I know i can go to kyle about anything,
• but im not always expecting the best outcome because he will tell me how
• it is. Kyle also supports me with all my decisions and encourages me to do
• my best all the time.
