BELIEFS
Believed they had to sacrifice their best citizen
Had gods for almost everything (corn, rain, sun)
Some of their religion still exists today for example December 21, 2012 was part of their religion.

MALE AND FEMALE ROLES
Males hunted and farmed
Females raised the children, made the clothes, and cooked in the kitchen.
All males were expected to be able to fight
Women would make themselves bleed while their husbands were in battle to assure the return of their husband

ECONOMICS
They got most of their food from farming
Although they did hunt as well.
The main trade items were gold, copper and jade
10.
CEREMONIES
Everyone was expected to attend royal marriages
The king would then sacrifice a captive or would host a ball game and the loser would be sacrificed
Many farmers would set up stands at the sacrificing events as they always got the best business at these events
