  • If its a decimal you will look and see if it is repeating or no and if its not its irrational
  • Any whole number is rational
  • All fractions are rational
  • Also pi with any number is irrational
  • A square root with a number in front of it is always irrational
  • A square root always has to come out even so it will be rational
