Soccer
The shortest distance from the goal keeper to the lines from the attacker to goal posts are perpendicular
There also are interesting dilemmas for the goal keeper about how far he should stand in the front of his goal
The task of a goal keeper also involves geometry
a good goal keeper does not stand on the goal line too much of the time
he stays a bit in the front of his goal because it makes no sense to dive behind the goal line to save the ball

Baseball
multiply the total number of earned runs by nine and divide the results by the total innings pitched
divide the number of games won by the total number of games played
divide the total number of bases of all base hits by the total number of times at bat
divide the total number of hits plus walks plus hits pitch by a bat

Basketball
The angle at which the ball is thrown is determined as the angle made by the extension of the player's arms and a perpendicular line starting from the player's hips. The diameter of the hoop (18 in), the diameter of the ball (9.4 in), the width of the court (50 ft) and the length from the three point line to the hoop (19 ft) are all standard measures that must be adhered to in any basketball courtThe path the basketball will take once it’s shot comes down to the angle at which it is shot, the force applied and the height of the player’s arms

Football
A team gets four downs to get a first down, which is 10 yards.
The high school, college and pro fields are 53 1/3 yards wide.
A touchdown is 6 points, a field goal is 3 points and an extra-point kick, which comes after a touchdown, is worth 1 point. Common penalties, when a team or player commits a rules infraction, are 5, 10 and 15 yards. A false start on the offense (moving before the ball is snapped) or a defensive offsides is 5 yards. A holding penalty on the offense (when a player grabs another player) is 10 yards. And a personal foul (ie., unnecessary roughness, unsportsmanlike conduct) is 15 yards.

Hockey
While playing hockey, the attacks may occur at any time. The team members need to calculate the speed of the attacker, the angle of attack, and own speed. After evaluating these facts, evaluate an angle through which a member may stop the attacker. Therefore, evidently angle usage is a key element in professional Ice hockey. The evaluation of fraction is also associated with playing Ice hockey. Math helps to find the largest fraction, and according to the calculation, 4/3 is a larger fraction compared to 5/4. This gives an idea that four skaters form more advantage over three rather than five skaters form over four. This is another form of Math application in Ice hockey. Consider a center person in Ice hockey, planning for a face-off. When the referee drops the hockey puck, the person may reach for the puck at exact time with the knowledge of Math.
