An expression or a proposition, often algebraic, asserting the equality of two quantities.

Integer

One of the positive or negative numbers 1, 2, 3, etc., or zero.

Order of operations

1.To begin, work within parentheses ( ), then brackets [ ], and then braces { } from innermost and work outward.
2.Simplify exponents and roots working from left to right.
3.Do multiplication and division, whichever comes first left to right.
4.Do addition and subtraction, whichever comes first left to right.
