• Dimensions Length 10 Width 5
• 10x5=50
• Perimeter Length times Length + Width times Width
• 10+10=20 5+5=10 10+20=30

RECTANGLE

• Formula Area= Base times Height
• Dimensions Base 18 Height 10
• 10x18=180
• Same formula as Square
• 10+10=20 18+18=36 36+20=56

PARALLEOGRAM

• Formula Area=Base times height
• Base 30 Height 40
• 40x30=1,200
• Perimeter Length2+ Width2
• 30x2+40x2=140

TRIANGLE

• Formula Base times Height Divided by 2
• Dimensions Base 14 Height 18
• 14x18/2=126
• Perimeter dimensions Two sides 9 base 3
• 9x2=18 +3=21

CIRCLE

• Formula Pie times radius to the power of two=Area
• Pie= 3.14 radius=5
• 5 to the power of 2=25 times 3.14=78.5
• Circumference Pie times diameter Diameter=10
• 10x3.14=31.4

IRREGULAR SHAPE

• Area divide the shapes in to two shapes
• So the shape is a rectangle and a square
• Do the area for both the shapes. Formula Area=Length times Width
• Dimensions square Length 5 Width 3 Rectangle Length 10 Width 6
• 5x3=15 + 10x6=60 60+15=75 Perimeter L2 +W2 + L2 +W2= Area 10x2+6x2+5x2+3x2=48
