The climate of The Colony was the coldest of all the colonies. The Massachusetts bay colony had a jagged coast and hills.
The colonists concentrated on manufacturing. Farming was difficult for crops like wheat because of the poor soil.
There was no religious freedom in the areas inhabited by the Puritans.
Most of the people in the colony were Puritans.
