DATE AND LOCATION OF APPARITION

  • July 18, 1830; November 27, 1830
  • Late at night.
  • Located in chapel at Rue du Bac, Paris, France

WITNESS

  • Catherine Laboure was a 24 years old and, at the time, was an old novice sister.
  • Catherine saw Mary twice in the same year. Once, on July 27, and once more on November 27.

WITNESS' DISCRIPTION

  • Catherine was led by a figure thought to be her guardian angel.
  • Mary walked down the steps and told Catherine about great religious persecution to cone.
  • The second time Mary came sh held a golden ball and told her to make a medal of encounter

REACTION OF THE COMMUNITY

  • When Catherine told her spiritual director he was doubtful.
  • When religious persecution happened they believed her.

CATHOLIC CHURCH ACCEPTING THE APPARITION

  • The investigation was started by Archbishop de Quele.
  • The investigation confirmed that Catherine was telling the truth.
  • The catholic church accepts this APPARITION.
