WOMEN IN FIRST CENTURYIN ANCIENT ISRAEL THE JEWISH CULTURE WAS ONE OF THE MOST MALE DOMINANT CULTURES IN THE WHOLE WORLD. IN ANCIENT JUDAISM THE WOMAN ONLY HAD RIGHTS IN THE HOME AND EVEN THAT WAS VERY LIMITED. THE MAN HAD AUTHORITY OVER HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTERS ESTABLISHING THEIR ACTIVITIES AND THEIR RELATIONSHIPS. WOMEN WERE PASSED FROM THE CONTROL OF HER FATHER TO THE CONTROL OF HER HUSBAND WITH LITTLE OR NO SAY IN THE MATTER. THEY WERE SOLD FOR A DOWRY SETTLEMENT USUALLY WHEN THEY CAME OF AGE. THE MISHNAH TAUGHT THAT A WOMAN WAS LIKE A GENTILE SLAVE WHO COULD BE OBTAINED BY INTERCOURSE, MONEY OR WRIT

Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Annunciation of Our Lady or Annunciation of the Lord, is the Christian celebration of the announcement by the angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive and become the mother of Jesus, the Son of God, marking his Incarnation. Gabriel told Mary to name her son Jesus, meaning "Saviour".

Mary visits her relative Elizabeth; they are both pregnant. Mary is pregnant with Jesus and Elizabeth is pregnant with John the Baptist. Mary stayed three months. Most scholars hold she stayed for the birth of John. Even though he was still in his mother's womb, John became aware of the presence of his Divine Saviour; he leapt for joy as he was cleansed from original sin and filled with divine grace.

To put The Nativity into short terms. Mary meets Angel, Journey to Bethlehem, No room in Inn, Jesus is born in stable, Shepherd hear news , Gives gifts, New star appears, 3 wise men follow, 3 wise men give gifts, jesus is safe, everyones happy :D

Mary and Joseph took the baby Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem forty days (inclusive) after his birth to complete Mary's ritual purification after childbirth, and to perform the redemption of the firstborn son, in obedience to the Law of Moses. Upon bringing Jesus into the temple, they encountered Simeon. The Gospel records that Simeon had been promised that "he should not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ" Lord, now lettest Thou Thy servant depart in peace; according to Thy word: for mine eyes have seen Thy salvation, which Thou hast prepared before the face of all people: to be a light to lighten the gentiles and to be the glory of Thy people Israel

Jesus at the age of twelve accompanies Mary and Joseph and a large group of their relatives and friends to Jerusalem on pilgrimage, following "the custom of the feast" On the day of their return, Jesus "lingered" in the Temple, but Mary and Joseph thought that he was among their group. Mary and Joseph headed back home and after a day of travel realised Jesus was missing, so they returned to Jerusalem, finding Jesus three days later. He was found in the Temple in discussion with the elders who were amazed at his learning, especially given his young age.

Jesus and his mother are invited to a wedding, and when the wine runs out, Jesus performs a miracle by turning water into wine.

Jesus was crucified and Mary was very sad. #VerySad

WHEN THEY ENTERED THE CITY THEY WENT TO THE UPPER ROOM WHERE THEY WERE STAYING, PETER AND JOHN AND JAMES AND ANDREW, PHILIP AND THOMAS, BATHOLOMEW AND MATTHEW, JAMES SON OF ALPHAEUS, SIMON THE ZEALOT, AND JUDAS SON OF JAMES. ALL THESE DEVOTED THEMSELVES WITH ONE ACCORD TO PRAYER, TOGETHER WITH SOME WOMEN, AND MARY THE MOTHER OF JESUS, AND HIS BROTHERS. -->

WE CAN EXPECT THAT BEFORE HIS ASCENSION INTO HEAVEN, OUR LADY WAS ABLE TO BID FAREWELL TO HER SON, KNOWING SHE WOULD SEE HIM AGAIN ONE DAY, AND THAT IN A MYSTERIOUS WAY, HE WOULD REMAIN WITH HER AND THE DISCIPLES.
WE SEE HER IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER IN THE MIDST OF THE DISCIPLES IN THE UPPER ROOM. SHE DID NOT RETIRE ON HER OWN, RETURNING TO HER HOME IN NAZARETH TO REMINISCE ABOUT HER SON. NO, RATHER, SHE STAYED THERE WITH HIS CHURCH, HIS FOLLOWERS, PRAYING WITH THEM, CONSOLING THEM, BEING THEIR MOTHER, AS SHE HAD BEEN COMMANDED TO BE.

When Mary's earthly life had ended, she was taken body and soul into heaven. The Church teaches that because of her unique role as Mother of God, Mary's body did not decay. She already shared and continues to share in the glory of Jesus' Resurrection.THIS TEACHING IS CALLED THE DOGMA OF THE ASSUMPTION. IT MEANS:
... THAT THE IMMACULATE MOTHER OF GOD, THE EVER VIRGIN MARY, HAVING COMPLETED THE COURSE OF HER EARTHLY LIFE, WAS ASSUMED BODY AND SOUL INTO HEAVENLY GLORY.

Mary Mother of God
Fundamentalists are sometimes horrified when the Virgin Mary is referred to as the Mother of God. However, their reaction often rests upon a misapprehension of not only what this particular title of Mary signifies but also who Jesus was, and what their own theological forebears, the Protestant Reformers, had to say regarding this doctrine. ->

A woman is a man’s mother either if she carried him in her womb or if she was the woman contributing half of his genetic matter or both. Mary was the mother of Jesus in both of these senses; because she not only carried Jesus in her womb but also supplied all of the genetic matter for his human body, since it was through her—not Joseph—that Jesus "was descended from David according to the flesh" (Rom. 1:3).

Since Mary is Jesus’ mother, it must be concluded that she is also the Mother of God: If Mary is the mother of Jesus, and if Jesus is God, then Mary is the Mother of God. There is no way out of this logical syllogism, the valid form of which has been recognized by classical logicians since before the time of Christ.
