• He real name was Michael Luther King Jr. but he changed it to Martin Luther King Jr.

BIRTH AND FAMILY

• He was born in the family house in Atlanta Martin the first son and the second child born
• Martin had two siblings an older sister willie Christine and brother Alfred Williams King

CHILDHOOD

• Martin played sports like football and baseball
• All the king children all took piano lessons from their mother

EDUCATION

• When Martin was five years old he was not allowed to continue his education until he was six years old
• At age fifteen he entered Atlanta's Morehouse College after that he went to Pennsylvania and Boston university in 1944

COLLEGE AND CAREER

• In 1951 Martin Enters Boston University for graduate studies
• His career was a baptist minister
