• Originated in Cleveland, Ohio
• Officers searched Dolree Mapp's house w/out warrant
• She was thought to be harboring a bomber (false)
• Officers found obscene pictures, and arrested her for possessing these
• Mapp argued of violation of 4th ammend. & appealed to Supreme Court
