  • They went up on July 20, 1969.
  • They left an American flag.
  • The american flag is not the only thing left. They left over 100 items
  • The film they had went missing in 2006 now they have to re-discover.

INTERESTING FACTS!

  • The moon has no atmosphere but it has a smell. Says Armstrong.
  • It smelt like gunpowder.
  • Had big holes...very big holes.
  • The craters got so big and caused a 1,500miles across and more than 5miles deep.
  • They said that was probably the best day(s) ever!
