Born- may 19 1925 in Nebraska
Died- February 21 1965
by gunman who shot him in Manhattan's Audubon ballroom and shot him 15 times at close range. Died on way to the hospital in New York.

How did Malcolm x try to achieve his goals?
By violent and anger actions. Telling blacks it's okay to act in violence when needed. This cant be achieved per say but was meant to impact many.

To add on Malcolm X started to adapt to his believes. Also he left the NOI group to start making own decisions

He believed in separation. He adapted to his believes.
He challenged the multiracial.
Also believed in the civil rights movements.

What drove Malcolm x and why did he get involved?
He preached at the American Civil Right movements to oppose segregation. He almost replaced the leader of the NOI because the people loved him so much

What effect did Malcom-X
Have on the African American culture?
Malcom-X inspired and influenced the violent actions to be accepted back in that time period, as well as influencing political figures to act in violence when wronged.

Malcolm x gave blacks something else no one had,a sense that the race has a right to feel anger and express the power of it and to challenge its domination and actively demand change.

He allowed black people to solve there problems through violence because he didn't believe peace won't solve problems in a long run.
