Defintion: showing strong feelings about something you love 

(page 63) - Malala is passionate about education. She wants to learn and is proud she is a girl. She loves wearing her uniform and cherishes every second at school.

(page 40,41) - Malala is passionate and loves her family. She is proud of her father for building a school for girls. She loves her mother and brothers, too.

Malala is passionate and hopeful that the war will end and she will get to learn again. She is hopeful that the war will end. (whole book)

Malala is passionate and believes that one day women and girls will get to learn and earn their rights. She started a school for girls so they can earn their education properly.

(ch. 3) Malala used to watch a show about a boy and his red magic pencil. She said that if she had that magic pencil, she would use it for good and to help others. Malala is passionate about helping others.

(ch. 26) When Malala was in the hospital, she was being brave. She was worried and confused what was happening and where she was. She was thinking about family, education and who would pay for the bill. She was worried about others.

(ch. 15) When Malala was watching "Ugly Betty" on TV, she was thinking about girls in Pakistan. American girls get to walk around with their face revealed, not Pakistan girls. She was passionate for freedom.

Malala is passionate about freedom. She is devoted, hopeful and passionate that one day women and men will go to school equally. There will be equality in not just Pakistan but the world.
