She was born June ,27th,1880
In Tuscumbia, Alabama
She was the first daughter born to
Arthur H. Keller and Katherine Adams Keller

In 1882 Helen became ill
Her doctor said the disease she had was called brain fever
A fews days later her mother started to notice some weird things.
When the dinner bell was rung Helen didn't seem to hear it.
And when a hand was waved in front of her face she didn't seem to see it.

her senses of sight of hearing
and she was only 18 months old.

When she got older she found out how to communicate
with her friend Martha Washington.

EDUCATION
Her parents started to look for an educator they
looked all over the place but they finally found Anne Sullivan
It was hard to teach Helen but she finally figured out how
by taking her to the water pump outside and putting water over
her hand. Anne taught Helen 30 words in one day,

In 1892 she attended school at the Cambridge School for young ladies
People wanted to meet her as her story spread. Mark Twain meet her
Then she wrote her first book called The Story of My Life.
Her book is about how she transformed from a little girl
to a college student. Her book was then used for a TV show called the Miracle Worker

Her leagacy
Helen won many awards
an example is the Presidential Medal of Freedom in1964
Helen suffered from many strokes.
And she died on June 1st, 1968 in Easton, Connecticut
She is a great symbol of hard-work and determination that can lead to success

Born on July,12,1997 in Mingora Pakistan
Malala attends the school that her father founded
After the Taliban attacked some girls schools in near by cities
she made a speech about why they are taking away their right of education

But she had to hide her identity she by using the name Gui Makai
In the year 2011 she was nominated for the International Childern's Peace Prize
When she was 14 her and her family found out that the Taliban had threatened her

He demanded to know which one was Malala.
Her friends turned their head revealing where she was
She got hit in the left side of the head and also hit her neck
They flew her to a near by hospital immediately

An autobiography called I am Malala
And a book called The girl who stood up for
Education but was shot by the Taliban
