PRESENTATION OUTLINE

MY MAKING DIARY

BY KIERAN MOANE

First of all we went onto Google sketchup and created CAD drawings of our preferred design

Next we drew diagonal lines to find the midpoint on the MDF then we drew an oval and we then used the hand drill to drill two holes at least 6 centimetres apart where two rods will go

Next we started to use a coping saw to drill around the oval that we had already drawn on we had to keep rotating the MDF in the vice so it is easier to cut and so the blade doesn't snap

After we had cut the MDF into an oval we used the sander ( with glasses) and made the sides of our design nice and smooth

After we had cut our wood into an oval and sanded the sides until they were smooth we got two diel rods and placed them into the holes that we had previously drilled

Next we got a cuboid piece of wood that would go on top of the two diel rods and we also had to draw two diagonal lines to find the midpoint then we drilled a hole all of the Way through the wood
