Identify the problem:
My problem is that the high school in Coppell is too crowded and we need a way to downsize it.

SOURCES OF THE PROBLEM

  • Only having one highschool
  • Building more houses in coppell
  • Populations continuing to rise
  • Not accounting for that population

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

  • Building a new highschool
  • Setting school district boundaries
  • Turning elementary school into new highschool

ADVANTAGES

  • Could possibly cut the schools pop. In half
  • New district boundaries would keep alot more kids from coming in
  • Cheapest way of taking down the overcrowding

DISADVANTAGES

  • Would cost alot
  • Kids would have to leave schools
  • Wouldn't take as many kids as we needed

They tried to fix the problem by building new tech but the school is specialized so most people don't want to go there. They need to build a normal high school.

Final Solution
Building a new high school would be the least costly and would keep students from having to move counties or cause too much commotion with the community.

THINGS WE'LL NEED

  • We will need a place to put the building
  • We will need the funding
  • We need to decide on technology
  • Staff will be needed
  • We need state approval for ta new school
