Cropland farming is one of the main causes because trees are cut down to make way for cropland because the people in the country's where deforestation is happening need money and the easiest way to make money and space for croplands is to cut down trees in the forest this is bad because trees are collecting CO2 from the atmosphere and making it into oxygen
