PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Magnesium is the 8th most abundant mineral found in the Earth's crust, not found in nature.
They mine magnesium in Australia using the open-cut method
Magnesium is used in batteries, planes, bikes, and is a light weight metal.
Dust deposits pollute the air, noise, and clearing vegetation has an impact.
There is an abundance of magnesium in Earth's crust with little sign of shortage on the material.
Open pit was used but not open-cut is more common and also safer. Magnesium is mostly mined with another mineral(s).
