WHAT IS MAD COW DISEASE?

  • A Brian disease that affects cattle
  • It affects the cow's nervous system
  • The cow loses control of doing normal things such as being able to walk.

HOW DO HUMANS GET IT?

  • People don't actually get BSE
  • Researchers believe that people get a disease similar to mad cow disease
  • This disease is called vCJD
  • You can get this disease from meat that was from a cow with mad cow disease

WHERE IS MAD COW DISEASE FOUND IN THE WORLD?

  • Europe
  • Asia
  • North America
  • U.K
  • Canada

PREFERRED METHOD OF ATTACK

  • Anyone who eats meat from a cow who has had mad cow disease

SYMPTOMS

  • Shrinkage of the Brian
  • Impaired vision
  • Weak muscles

CAUSES BRAIN TO SHRINK

THE BRIAN HAS A SPONGE LIKE APPEARENCE
