I Will Remember You

"Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by, weep not for the memories..."

Lean on Me

"Lean on me, when you're not strong. And I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on. For it won't be long, 'til I'm gonna need somebody to lean on..."

This song describes Macduff's need in Malcolm. The lyrics directly show how Macduff has to persuade Malcolm to trust him, in order to gain his help in killing Macbeth. It also emphasizes how they both need each other to fight for a greater cause.

Fly Away

"I wish that I could fly, into the sky, so very high, just like a dragonfly. I'd fly above the trees, over the sees in all degrees, to anywhere I please..."

This song and it's lyrics explain the problem that Macduff faces now, knowing Macbeth is after him. Specifically, he understands that he needs to get as far away from Scotland, in order to plot his revenge...and to survive.
