MACBETH SYNOPSIS
Macbeth revolves around the story of a kinsman named Macbeth who meets three witches who conjure a prophecy, stating that Macbeth will become the King of Scotland. As the prophecy becomes reality Macbeth changes into a paranoid, power-hungry murderer, and commits many terrible acts in order to remain on the throne. Macbeth is one of Shakespeare's darkest stories, and is a tragic story of loss and betrayal.

THEMES IN MACBETH
Macbeth shows many different themes and emotions in the story, including power, ambition and superstition, and reveals the character battling between their own morals and desire for power. The characters ambition and desires get the better of them and it sees Lady Macbeth commit suicide and Macbeth to be killed for his violent actions.
