  • Died on March 26, 1827
  • He died at the age of 57

PARENTS AND SIBLINGS

  • Mom Maris Magdalena Van Beethoven
  • Father Johann Van Beethoven
  • Has two brothers that lived till adulthood
  • One is Casper Van Beethoven born in 1774
  • The other is Johann Van Beethoven born in 1776
  • His second brother has the same name as his father

  • He played his first concert at age 6
  • He Struggled with sums and spelling his entire life

WHERE DID HE LIVE

  • Born in Bonn Germany
  • Moved to Vienna returned because his mother turned sick
  • He died in Bonn Germany

HOW DID HE GET STARTED WITH MUSIC

  • He father wanted him to play music
  • So then Beethoven started playing
  • His education came from his father and every time he would stop or stutter his father would whip him or would be in the basement for awhile

  • Beethoven was best know for playing the piano
  • He composed opera and symphony
  • He started out high classical era then moved to individualistic style

FIVE INTERESTING FACTS

  • That after his brother died he ended up adopting his nefew he went through many court battles to be able to adopt his nefew
  • He often dipped his head in to cold water before composing
  • He died in a thunderstorm of age 56
  • His first performance was I Burgtheater in Veinna in April 1800

He wrote nine symphonies, 5 sonatas for the cello and piano, ten for the violin and piano, 5 piano concertos, one violin concerto, one piano concerto, violin and cello, ten overtures two ,asses, one opera, and a ballet

The first composition Beethoven-symphony No 5in C minor, Op 67-Thielemann

Another composition is the Beethoven Moonlight sonata

I picked the moonlight sonata because it is a very soothing and quiet song and it's good for doing homework too.
