THE OTHER SIDE OF A "TRIP"

  • "After I had taken the acid, I imagined that we had driven head-on into an 18-wheeler
  • and killed. I could hear the screeching metal, then a dark and evil quiet. I was terrified at this point.
  • I actually thought we were dead. For a year I wouldn't go into a cemetery because I was
  • afraid of finding my own grave." -Jenny

THE REALITY AFTER A "TRIP"

  • "I started drinking at the age of 15, then it progressed to speed, ecstasy, cocaine
  • and LSD. I found it difficult to keep a job and became depressed, never thinking I would overcome my
  • addiction. I saw psychiatrists and was put under more drugs, tranquilizers and antidepressants, which
  • didn't help. Without my drugs as an outlet for my feelings anymore, I took to self-harm and started
  • cutting and burning myself." -Justin
