  • Learners communicate with each other, sharing their ideas and understandings, feelings, knowledge, and experience to come up with new knowledge.
  • The role of teacher shifts to one of facilitator and guide.

CONSTRUCTIVIST TEACHERS

  • Set up classroom spaces where academic choice leads to greater student engagement
  • Are open to the ideas, questions, and interests of children
  • Use workshop models to differentiate instruction and build both student engagement and independence.
