THERE IS NO POLLUTION AND WASTE

  • The animals are rotated daily to fresh grass/ pastures and
  • the chickens eats the bugs from the cows and pig manure.
  • When the cows go into the barn for the winter, they leave manure and
  • the farmer puts wood-chips on top of the manure and the pigs eat the corn of
  • out of the manure.

THE MEAT IS HEALTHIER BECAUSE THE ANIMALs can rome around

  • Green grasss has a large qualities of beta-carotene
  • vitamin E, folic acid and o-mega 3s.
  • The animal contains more o-mega 3s.
  • Among other things o-mega 3s are important for the
  • growth of the brain cells and other neurons.

SOME PEOPLE MAY SAY THAT THE LOCAL FOOD IS MORE EXPENSIVE.

  • There are hiddden cost in the Industrail food chain because
  • the chemicals destroy the ground.
  • After the harvest the potatoes have to be stored in a
  • gigantic shed for six months till the pesticides fade out of the potatoes.

The local food chain is good for the environment and the meat is healthy for us to eat.

The meat is healthier for your body because there is no chemicals. The local food chain is also cheaper for us. We should use the local food chain and not the organic food chain because of the chemicals.
