- A war of extermination will continue to be waged between the races legislators spent over $1.5 million to waged war on Native people.
- And in 1854, congress allocated nearly a million dollars to reimburse California for these expenses.

The lands they were forced to give up in 1860 and the size of Tule Lake after it was drained in the early 1900.
