Diets perpetuate the child in each of us

who was treated with criticism, mistrust and restrictions

As long as we are obsessed with food,

We always have a concrete reason that explains our pain.

If every time my mother criticized me I overate,

I could justify her actions: My mom hurts me because I’m fat and ugly.
