3.) Learn how to survive any hardships.
4.) Learning what true happiness is; friendship, love, marriage and children
Text-to-text Connections:
Many re- runs today focus on the same themes as Little Women. For example: The Little House on the Prairie, The Walton's, and the Andy Griffith show.
Text-to-Self Connections:
I have a sister and I have to share clothing, ideas, and other things with her, as the girls did in the book. My mom reminds me of Marmee because she is always there for us, giving advice, giving consequences and always wanting our happiness.
Text-to-World Connections:
Many family's today are going through the same thing that the family in the book is, by having to survive hardships, war, poverty, illnesses, and deaths. It is a struggle for some families to meet their needs as it is for the March family.
