Ex. My dog, Buddy, ate my shoes and hat.

APPOSOTIVE PHRASE
A phrase that comes after a noun or pronoun that contains an appositive and its modifiers.
Ex. My friend's car, a white Lamborghini, is the coolest car I have ever seen.

NONESSENTIAL WORDS/PHRASES
A word or phrase that is s not needed in a sentence in order for it to be complete.
Nonessential words/phrases can be placed almost anywhere in a sentence.

Example(phrase): The student, who has a broken arm, cannot play in the basketball game today.

Phrases needed in a sentence in order for the sentence to be complete.
