  • Both wanted control of the Islands

  • Only fought within the islands
  • Little casualties on both sides

THE GULF WAR

  • Between Iraq and U.S.
  • Iraq invades Kuwait
  • Aug 2, 1990
  • In Kuwait
  • To push Iraq out of Kuwait

HOW WAS IT LIMITED?

  • No draft involved
  • Only half of U.S. Air Force fighters sent over seas
  • Only took place in Kuwait
  • Technology used in place of man power to limit casualties
  • Civilians avoided

THEN SPANISH CIVIL WAR

  • Government control of Spain

  • The Spanish was was limited for the foreign powers, but not the civilians.
