  • Want Falklands/Malvinas islands
  • 1828-1982
  • Falklands/Malvinas
  • Countries want distractions from home front

  • War was created to distract people
  • Britain didn't actually want the islands
  • There was sheep farming on the islands

GULF WAR

  • Iraq, Iran, US , Kuwait
  • Conflict between Iraq and Kuwait
  • 1990-1991
  • In Iraq, Iran, and Kuwait
  • Because of oil, and international conflicts

  • The war was pushed along by America
  • American forces played a large part in ending the war
