LED LIGHTS

BACKGROUND

• LED lights were first introduced in 1962 by Nick Holonyak.
• They are made of a semiconductor material, and different chemicals create different colors.

LED lights are used in almost all modern smart phone screens, which are almost a necessity today.

LED lights are also used in modern televisions. The TV is also something we use to get news and watch shows.

The LED light is used in the display of our iPads. Without LED lights, tablets and monitors would be impossible.

LED lights are becoming widely used in GPS systems, which are crucial for finding directions.

LED lights are also really useful as (you guessed it) lights. They are very bright so it's easier to see.
