PRESENTATION OUTLINE
The Soviet Union was the first to liberate in July of 1944. They reached Majdanek near Lublin, Poland.
The Soviets liberated Auschwitz in January 1945. They only found several thousand prisoners alive when they entered the camp because the Nazis had forced the larger amount of Auschwitz prisoners to march westward.
Bergen-Belsen was liberated by the Brits on 15 April, 1945. The Germans surrendered the camp peacefully.
