• Produces Seashell necklaces, tiki cups, coconut bras, and grass skirts.

I/2 of island will be for tourists.

This will be how Lerkan makes its income.

We will sell our products to the rich tourists.

THE OTHER 1/2 OF THE ISLAND:

• Low wage workers.
• Work long hours.
• Government makes ALL decisions.

Economic Goals:
1-Make $ for military goods.

2-Provide only for the wealthy in the government.

3-Take over the world from our island.

PRIVATE PROPERTY

• Government owns it all.
• Just the wealthy government officials will have their own homes.
• People will be assigned to housing that benefits the economy the most.

Workers Jobs-
1-Harvest materials (seashells, grass, coconuts, leaves, vines).
2-Clean raw material.
3-Assemble products

Jobs:

Labor force will be assigned jobs

Workers will do many jobs-government has to pay less

Government Rules:
Used to keep order
1-No harvesting of materials until Government gives ok.
2-Must work at least 14 hours a day
3-Failure to comply with these rules will result in death.

Capital Needed:

Rope spinners and Machetes.

These will be paid for with excess $ from goods.

The Government does NOT care about people's problems. Only $.

The people need to worry about themselves.
