LEARNING STATEMENTS

#1 Inquiry- Finger prints:

I learned about finger
prints and it is important to
me because now I know the different types of designs of my finger prints and also I know what the lines are on my fingers. I also enjoyed the fun of finding out the designs with the ink!

#2 Math- Area & perimeter:

I learned area and perimeter and it is important to me because I now know how to find area and perimeter in different geometric shapes. I also enjoyed creating squares and rectangles in the shapes so it was easier to measure!

#3 Writing- Speech1:

I learned how to present a proper speech on my passion and it is important to me because now I can give a speech without getting nervous a lot and talking too fast. I don't get too nervous anymore because no one judges me after I present. I also enjoyed talking about my passion in front of the class!

#4 F.A.T- painting:

I learned painting and it is important to me because I feel that it's an important piece of creativity in art instead of drawing. I also really enjoyed making "happy clouds" and mountains. I am proud of my art and it only matters if I like it!

#5 H.C.E- Running technique:

I learned how to run properly on my toes, not my heels and it is important to me because it helps me run faster now. I also enjoyed running everyday for a couple weeks to get used to the feeling of it!
