Childhood
Leonardo Pisano Fibonacci was born in Pisa Italy. And lived with his father, Guilielmo who brought Fibonacci on his travels. Which were in North Africa. Where Fibonacci was educated, in places like Mediterranean port, Algeria, cape carbon, and mount gouraya. Traveling around North Africa he learned the enormous advantages mathematics had in all the countries he visited with his father. Making him pursue in math. He travels finally ended in 1200.

Education
Fibonacci's early education was in North Africa while traveling with his father. As far as his college Fibonacci lived in a time where colleges didn't exist but his advanced studies led him to finding Arabic/Hindu numerals. And writing books explaining his theories and findings. Making The Liber Abbaci in 1202, which explained calculating arithmetic and algebra he learned in North Africa. Containing numbers, place value, and his famous rabbit problem otherwise known as the Fibonacci sequence.

Accomplishments
Key contributions to Fibonacci's success was his books explaining his work such as Liber Abbaci(1202),Practica Geomatriae(1220),Flos(1225) and Liber Quadratorum(1225). Fibonacci was said to have been one of the most talented mathematicians in the west in the Middle Ages in the 12th-13th centuries . His work influenced many mathematicians. Edouard Cucas stumbled onto Fibonacci numbers and he gave them the name "the Fibonacci sequence". Which the name is still used today.

Accomplishments #2
Edouard Cucas wasn't the only mathematician wasn't the only one who noticed Fibonacci. Jordan worked with Fibonacci in Pisa all though he wasn't as skilled as Fibonacci he reported to emperor Frederick the second who met Fibonacci and became great friends with. Lastly Michael scotus studied his work and eventually led to talk to the emperor a second time on Fibonacci's behalf. Inventions such as the Fibonacci sequence and the bigollo spiral(page3). Are still used today by millions of people.

Historical events 1200-1275
The year the Liber Abbaci was published in 1202, famine hit Egypt and wouldn't recover for 2 years! Also the fourth Crusade began. In 1220 Fibonacci's great friend emperor Frederick the second is crowned ruler of the Holy Roman Empire, Marco Polo begins his journey . In 1247 Holy Roman Empire ruler goes to war with the pope over religious beliefs this war ends 3 years later
1250 emperor Fredrick dies also Fibonacci dies the same year and war extends to 1254.

Fibonacci
