WHAT IS THE NITROGEN CYCLE

  • The nitrogen cycle is when nitrogen is converted into different chemical forms.
  • Nitrogen is essential component to animo acids they are the building blocks of protein and nucleotides are the building block of DNA.

Homeostasis through active and passive transport

  • Homeostasis is the balance in a cell.
  • It maintains balance by the equilibrium .
  • Equilibrium is when opposing forces are balanced.

PASSIVE TRANSPORT

  • Passive is anything that passes in and out the cell and no energy required.
  • Passive has 3 other processes : osmosis, facilitated diffusion, and diffusion.

MICROMOLECULES

  • Are bigger molecules made up by smaller molecules.
  • There are four different type of molecules that make up Macromolecules witch are lipids, carbohydrates, protein, & Nucleic acids.
  • How it relates to our plant is that without macromolecules it wouldn't be able to function, the way it function is by helping it create its food/protein.

ORGANELLES IN THE FUNCTION

  • Cell organs are called organelles
  • Each cell has multiple organelles so that the cell can function.
  • All cells have a purpose and if they don't then they are stem cells
