Desert: is a barren area of land where little precipitation occurs and consequently living conditions are hostile for plant and animal life. The lack of vegetation exposes the unprotected surface of the gLandforms: a natural feature of the earth’s surface. Landforms are created through different processes in nature.
round. Deserts usually contains cold blooded animals like lizards, snakes ,birds, and bugs.
Hills: are elevations of the earth’s surface that have distinct summits, but are lower in elevation than mountains. Hills may be formed by a buildup of rock debris or sand deposited by glaciers and wind. hills may be created by faults. Faults are a slight crack in the earth which can cause earthquakes. Hills are formed when these faults go slightly upward.
canyon: a deep gorge, typically one with a river flowing through it. These canyons are usually inhabited with fish and native creatures such as: mountain lions, snakes, spiders, and scorpions.
ocean: a very large expanse of sea, in particular, each of the main areas into which the sea is divided geographically. The ocean contains hundreds of thousands species of life. the main types of life are: fish,sharks,coral,microorganisms,and crustaceans.
River: a large natural stream of water flowing in a channel to the sea, a lake, or another such stream. all of the animals that live in rivers are freshwater fish such as: Carp, Bass, Catfish, and in some rivers, Alligators.
lake: still body of water that is usually separated from other water sources and have algae ,small fish,crawfish, and frogs. most of the time there are small lakes in neighborhoods.
