Many consider the driving age to be a problem. Some children are irresponsible and do not focus enough on the road. Children who are not paying attention can cause others serious harm.
As children age, most become more mature and this may prevent accidents, fooling around and racing. It is believed that if we change the driving age to 18 more lives would be saved.
First we would have to contact State Legislatures in Harrisburg to give them the specific reasons as to why the age should be changed and then wait for approval.
This would give children a better understanding and visual of the road, and prevent dangers to others on the road. It would make children more confident behind the wheel of the car.
All together, I believe it is a great idea to raise the driving age to 18 if it can save lives and accidents. You do not get your license to be "cool". It is a privilege to travel so I believe raising the age to 18 would be the proper thing to do today.
